Everything You Love to Do
Everything you love to do is just minutes away. Indoor and outdoor sports and activities are readily available throughout the Copper Country. Compete in the various mountain biking races in Houghton, Calumet and Copper Harbor. Run the Upper Peninsula largest race in Hancock, the Canal Run. Walk the sandy beaches of Bete Grise or White City. Camp at one of the four state parks in the three-county area. Kayak the Lake Superior shoreline or one of our many inland lakes. Boat in Lake Superior, Portage Lake or one of our other inland lakes.
The Copper Country remains an active community through all four seasons. When winter comes, grab your cross country skis and visit on of the many ski trails in the area or watch the CopperDog 150 sled dog races in February. Dowhnhill ski or snowboard at Mount Bohemia or Mont Ripley. Participate in one of over a hundred annual festivals in the Upper Peninsula. No traffic, no commute. Just year-round access to everything you love to do.
