Finlandia University

Finlandia University is a private, not-for-profit, HLC accredited, co-educational liberal arts college affiliated with the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America. Hancock Public School District

Hancock is a community nestled on the north side of the Portage Waterway. The school district serves about 840 students in grades K-12. The school district is comprised of four townships (Franklin, Quincy, Hancock and the City of Hancock). The district consists of an elementary building and a separate building consisting of the middle and high school.

Houghton-Portage Township School District is located in Houghton, Michigan (population of Houghton County is 35,568). We have approximately 1330 students K-12. Our district consists of an elementary building and a separate middle and high school building that is connected.
